Lazarus -- 42 verses!! I was part of a group that worked on the Widow of Nain text last year where Jesus raises the widow's son from death as they are on the way to bury him. Definitely worth looking at that text: Luke 7.11-17
ReplyDeleteThanks George! I will continue to ponder the Lazarus text. I decided I will most certainly be preaching the Sunday after Easter...I'm glad Micah pointed that out to us today. I'm now trying to think of clever ways to present the same ol' doubting Thomas we get every Easter.
